This is the 1st nest painting I have done for maybe a year, it's around 1 meter square, oil on canvas,
the price is $2.500.00 Aussie dollars my email is on the header, if you are interested I can deliver free in Victoria or South Australia, contact me.
Apple and pear.
At last I have got the paints out and have started painting again !! after a long break, I put a textured background on this one to give a layered look, only small scale about 30 x 25 cm.

Arabellas feathers.
The light was stronger on one side so you must imagine this painting on a clean white background,
it's about a meter wide, and was done for my granddaughter in Adelaide, she thinks it is 'awesome' !!
and will adorn her bedroom wall when I next get down there.
Plums.
A slightly off square!! photo of a new painting, 3 Plums, it's oil on canvas, and the size is about 61 x 51 cm.
Happy fruit.
This is an old painting from last year, that I have never been 100% happy with, so I fiddled around
a bit and added some brighter colours with broader brush strokes etc so now I am happy!! the size is
61 x 61 cm.
Fig on blue.
A new painting, oil on canvas 41 x 51 cm. In this one I have gone away from a traditional tight finish.

Pastel portrait
This is a close up from a life drawing done recently at Ballarat, just burnt sienna and white chalk.
Figs in a row.
Fallen Pear.
This one is 600 x 450 mm oil on canvas, I'm trying to keep a lighter palette, I had fun and love playing with pastel tints.
fruit and vase.
This painting was done recently in oil on masonite, it's strange painting on such a non porous surface,
I may try it again on a bigger scale, the only trouble is that you are forced to have it framed, which can
be a drag, if you have a few to do.

On a Ledge. (sold )
I did this painting over a year ago, it was purchased by the owners of 'The Dudley' boutique small hotel in Hepburn, Cate the owner, has hung the painting in one of the reception rooms near the entrance and I was thrilled to see it, in a beautiful position on an almost black gloss wall, Knock out! I had forgotten how good it was,!! maybe one of my best paintings. anyone wanting to stay in a great little hotel and see the sights in this part of Australia, you wouldn't do any better than the Dudley.

cabbage and plums.
A similar painting to the one below, it is oil on canvas, and over a meter in width, I like the idea of the cabbage being a back drop to the plums that are lurking in the shadows ! I may follow this theme for a while.

Going Up.
This painting was done about 3 months ago here in Daylesford, it is a 100cm x wide by 80 cm,
oil on canvas, it took ages to complete! click on it to see a larger view, I will try to get myself on track in the new year with a better work ethic,! and also engage a new gallery
in Melbourne, I have been side tracked with house renovations almost all of this year, so lets hope I can get motivated and enjoy my art in 2016.
Hannah.
A drawing completed recently at life drawing in Ballarat, pastel and background paint, large format.

Cabbage and Peaches.
this painting was done for the Daylesford Art Show a few weeks ago, it's oil on canvas and it is about
120 cm x 75. I will be adding more stuff over the next few days, before we go to Adelaide to
see the the family for a pre Christmas get together.
Life drawing .
This is a 20 minute sketch done in Ballarat a couple of weeks ago at our drawing group,
I prepare the paper 1st, with some bold colours in acrylic then draw over the top with pastels.
Emerging 2.
I have tried to follow the style of the previous image ( further down the page.) with
this mixed media piece acrylic and oil, also some collage, it is about a meter square, with so
many interesting areas to catch the eye, hope you like it.

Three in a row.
My favorite fruit, !! again a smaller picture, with a pale grey background the colours
stand out like little jewels, hope you like it,
'Emerging' ( sold )
This is my 1st update for about 12 months since moving to Daylesford, we have been renovating
the house and building a studio converted from an old single car garage, it isn't as big as the one in Adelaide but will suffice.
anyway all this work hasn't given me much time to paint, but things are beginning to settle down now a
so I will pop things up occasionally.
the painting above was sold at the recent Daylesford art show.
it is a little different for me, let me know what you think, my email is rogerrobertsart@gmail.com
